C&S has an immediate opening for a part-time, direct hire Accountant for a church in Jefferson City.

Salary/hours for Accountant: $25/hr.; 15 hrs/week (Monday-Thursday)

Responsibilities for part-time Accountant:

• managing cash receipts, contributions and cash disbursements
• managing accounts payable, payroll and general ledger/financial reports
• work with church personnel, committees and members of the congregation

Requirements for part-time Accountant:

• Accounting degree or comparable experience
• proficient in Excel and Word and ability to learn and use church accounting system (ACS)
• excellent customer service, communication and people skills
• ability to keep information confidential and work independently
