C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time, direct hire Civil Engineer Intern in Jefferson City.

Salary is commensurate with experience and education (and includes full benefit package).

Responsibilities for Civil Engineer Intern:

• Assist the Project Engineer with drafting, design and preparing specifications for civil engineering projects related to residential and commercial land development
• Research and prepare proposals for prospective projects
• Tabulate material quantities and prepare engineer construction cost estimates
• Clearly communicate and correspond with city, county and state officials in order for projects to comply with applicable rules, regulations and ordinances

Requirements for Civil Engineer Intern:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Enrollment as an Engineer Intern in the State of Missouri preferred
• 0-3 years experience
• Familiar with AutoCAD and ability to quickly gain proficiency and learn additional software with instruction
• Proficiency in Microsoft software, specifically Word and Excel
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail
