C&S has an immediate opening for full-time, temp-to-hire Universal Banker Teller in Jefferson City.

Salary/hours for Universal Banker Teller: $16.50/hr.; Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. + once a month 3 hours on Saturday

Responsibilities for Universal Banker Teller:

• accepting and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency within policy guidelines including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, issuing cashier’s checks and additional transactions upon request
• performing daily balancing procedures and assist with daily operational branch duties
• opening accounts including but not limited to checking, savings, safe deposit box, basic business related, etc.
• performing changes to existing accounts as requested by the customer
• greeting customers and ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall customer satisfaction
• maintain knowledge of all banking products through training courses, branch meetings, corporate communications, etc.

Requirements for Universal Banker Teller:

• high school diploma or equivalent
• strong customer service and communication skills
• ability to meet or exceed established goals and maintain knowledge of products through training, meetings and other communications
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience and/or previous experience working in a financial institution preferred
• proficient in Microsoft Office and computer application
• ability to successfully complete required compliance and training curriculum to be proficient in the basic account opening process
• previous sales experience preferred
